Our historyTHE BEGGINING
On April 20, 2012, the doors of the brewery open and the first beer is sold. In 2013 the brewery moves to El Sauzal in a small plant to make a production enough to meet the demand in a local bar.

In 2014, a brewery with a capacity of 7bbl is bought and other customers start to buy.
2015 was a great year. Beers are bottled and distributed to different cities in Mexico.

GROWTH
In 2016 the brewery shows an exponential expansion: production increases to 30bbl tanks, and the distribution to the US begins.
THE CURRENT PLANT
In 2017 the implementation of the current plant starts and the construction of a bigger warehouse begins in order to house the new kitchen.
NEW CHALLENGES
2018 was a transitional year: new equipment is installed to reach our current production. The building of the plant begins, introducing a brand-new bottling machine, a can seamer and the rest of the equipment running.
In 2019, we won the award for Best Brewery in Mexico for the second time around.
THE BREWERY TODAY
With more than 30 employees and both national and international distribution, Cervecería Wendlandt is located among the most important breweries in the industry in Mexico.

Dark beer, black color. Creamy in the mouth, taste of roasted grains and a light touch of oatmeal.
Pairing: Seafood, oysters, mature cheeses, sausages and chocolate-based desserts.

HARRY POLANCO
RED ALE
ABV: 5.8% / IBU: 45
Intense copper red color, toasted grains and caramel flavors stand out. Bitterness and astringency similar to IPA.
Pairing: Natural rind cheeses, prime beef, roasts, spicy dishes and sweet and sour sauces.

ABV: 4% / IBU: 30
Light colored beer, white foam and medium carbonation. Fresh aromas thanks to the classic American profile. Citric, piney, resinous and herbaceous notes. Crushable, refreshing and well balanced with a slightly bitter taste at the end.
Pairing: Spicy and hot food, chicken wings and pizza.
PERRO DEL MAR
INDIA PALE ALE
ABV: 7% / IBU: 60
Golden colored beer, with an intense bitter flavor supported by a light malty flavor. Tropical fruits, pine trees, resins and citrus aromas.
Pairing: Spicy food, seafood, high-fat foods, roasts, chocolate-based desserts and spices.

Light, blond, refreshing and hoppy beer. Citrus in the nose and mouth, derived from the amount of American hop involved.
